FREDERICK, Md. - For the fourth consecutive game, Stevenson women's soccer senior Brianna Christie found the back of the net, but it wasn't enough as the Mustangs had their five-game winning streak snapped in a 4-2 MAC Commonwealth loss versus Hood Tuesday evening at Thomas Athletic Field.

• The Mustangs (6-7-1, 3-1-0 MAC Commonwealth) controlled the game early, recording the first five shots, including a shot just 31 seconds into the contest by junior Allison Arters.
• In the 17th minute, the visitors took a 1-0 lead on a goal by senior Marissa Inglisa. Junior Melanie Parncutt picked up the assist.
• On just the third shot of the game by the Blazers (11-3-1, 3-0-0 MAC Commonwealth), Erin Scarborough found the back of the net for the hosts, tying the game in the 30th minute.
• Lydia Erickson made a pair of saves before Hood took the lead in the 38th minute on a goal by Courtney Ellis.
• Stevenson recording the final four shots of the half, including shots on net by junior Bridget Heist and freshman Julia Nephew.

• The Blazers controlled the early part of the second half, firing a shot off the crossbar in the opening two minutes.
• In the 50th minute, Scarborough netted her second goal of the game to push Hood's lead to, 3-1.
• Just 6:41 later, Christie got the visitors back within one with an unassisted goal.
• Following a pair of shots by the Blazers, Stevenson recorded five straight shots, putting four on net.
• The Blazers reclaimed a two-goal lead in the 86th minute as Scarborough picked up her fifth point of the night with an assist.

• Stevenson outshot Hood, 20-11, while holding a slight, 4-3, edge in corner kicks.
• The Mustangs had their shutout streak snapped at 421:16, which spanned the last five games.
• Chrisite has six goals in her last four games while Inglisa netted her fourth this season.
