WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Stevenson University beach volleyball team forced a third set in two of five matches, but fell 5-0 to Eckerd College on Thursday.

At No. 3, junior Sara Bollinger and sophomore Lauren Weaver forced a third set after winning the second set against Eckerd's Stephanie Bodga and Kali Boatwright 21-15 after falling 21-17 in the first set.  Eckerd prevailed, posting a 15-6 win in set number three.

Freshmen Moriah Savage and Grace Coleman won the first set against Savanna Cary and Haylee Bilbray 21-17 before ultimately falling 17-21, 21-19, 15-3.

Stevenson returns to action on Friday, facing Warner in a match to be played at Webber International University at 3:00 pm.
