Box Score ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - The Stevenson women's volleyball team recorded a .309 attack percentage, its third highest of the season, as the Mustangs cruised to a straight-set victory, 25-22, 25-9, 25-14, over former CAC-foe Elizabethtown Thursday evening at Thompson Gymnasium.
It was the ninth straight-set win for the Mustangs (16-7) who also totaled at least 10 service aces for the ninth time this season.
Sophomore Annika Schwartz recorded a match-high 16 kills, just eight fewer than the entire Blue Jays (12-9) team. It was the 12th match, and fifth in the last seven, that Schwartz has totaled at least 10 kills.
Following a tight first set and first 10 points of the second, Stevenson fired off nine-consecutive points and 20 of the next 25 as the team recorded a .423 attack percentage to take a 2-0 sets lead.
The Mustangs posted a .429 attack percentage in the third set on 14 kills and just two errors.
Schwartz, junior Kelsey Stave and senior Kelly McKenzie all totaled three block assists while junior Sara Bollinger finished with 29 assists, 11 digs, two block assists and a solo block.
Sophomore Deanna Bradbury recorded nine digs and four service aces.
Stevenson returns to action on Saturday, October 10 when the Mustangs host a MAC Commonwealth tri-match with Lycoming and Hood beginning at 11:00 a.m.
