Box Score STEVENSON, Md. - Senior Ben Hallam homered for the second game in a row as the Stevenson baseball team lost the first of a three-game Commonwealth Conference series opener versus Albright Friday at Park Field on Senior Day, 10-2.
After giving up three runs on five hits to start the game, Stevenson (12-22, 7-12 MAC) scored two runs in the bottom of the first on Hallam's third home run of the season, a two-run shot to left field.
Albright (12-14-1, 9-10 MAC) scored five more runs in the top of the fifth, with Collin Hecker and Max Dundore collecting two RBIs each in the inning. Every hitter in the Lions' lineup recorded at least one hit, led by John Medvecky's 3-for-4 day.
For the Mustangs, junior Troy Miller was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored while freshman Kevin Kopas was 1-for-2.
Stevenson concludes their series on the road at Albright tomorrow with a doubleheader starting at noon.
