Box Score ANNVILLE, Pa. - Junior Allie Ondrejcak totaled a career-high two assists to lead the Stevenson women's soccer team to a 2-0 Commonwealth Conference victory over Lebanon Valley in the regular season finale Saturday afternoon at Herbert Field.
The Mustangs (9-5-4, 7-0-1 MAC), who went unbeaten in conference play for the first time in program history, will be the top seed in the Commonwealth Conference playoffs. Stevenson gets the tiebreaker over No.1 Messiah as the Mustangs beat the third seed by two goals and the Falcons won by just one goal.
Senior Kaylie Yapps put Stevenson ahead with her first goal of the season in the 35th minute. A corner kick by Ondrejcak found the head of Yapps who put away the goal on Ondrejcak's team-leading sixth assist of the year.
Thirteen of Yapps' 15 shots this season have been headers off corner kicks by Ondrejcak. Fourteen of her 15 shots have been headers.
In the 75th minute, Ondrejcak assisted again off a corner kick, this time finding the head of freshman Kellen Wittman. It is the second time this season the two have connected off a corner kick.
Freshman Tiffany McKee posted her fourth shutout this season after totaling three saves. Lebanon Valley (14-3-1, 6-2 MAC) was led by Taylor Reinhold with six saves in net.
Stevenson outshot the Dutchmen 18-6 while also holding a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.
The Mustangs will return to action on Wednesday, November 5 in the Commonwealth Conference semifinals and will host the winner of the play-in game. Game time is TBA.
