Box Score CHESTER, Pa. - Second half goals by junior Allie Ondrejcak, sophomore Jordan Porretto and freshman Kellen Wittman highlighted Stevenson women's soccer 3-0 victory over Widener in a Commonwealth Conference contest Saturday afternoon at Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium.
The Mustangs (5-5-3, 3-0 MAC) have posted three-straight wins and are one of two teams left unbeaten in the Commonwealth Conference. All three wins have been decided by shutout as the Mustangs have outscored their opponents 8-0.
Ondrejcak broke a scoreless tie with her second goal in as many games with a shot from 25 yards out in the 48th minute. The goal marks her first game-winner this season and fifth in her career. She then added her team leading fourth assist as Porretto headed home a free kick from 30 yards away.
Wittman scored her team leading fifth goal of the season after finishing a low cross into the box from classmate Isabella Ekeze. The freshman duo have combined for 21 points this season on eight goals and five assists.
Freshman Tiffany McKee posted her third-straight shutout as she totaled one save. Her counterpart, Olivia Pfautz, finished with 10.
The Pride (4-6-2, 1-2 MAC) totaled just two shots, as the Mustangs outshot Widener 27-2 and held an 11-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Stevenson will host top-ranked Messiah in the battle of the conference unbeaten for sole possession of first place on Wednesday, October 15. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
