ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - Led by three points on a goal and an assist from junior Meaghan Williams (Dundalk, Md./Dundalk), the third-seeded Stevenson women's soccer team posted a 2-0 victory over second-seeded Elizabethtown in the Commonwealth Conference semifinals Thursday afternoon at Ira R. Herr Field.

With the win, the Mustangs (13-7-1) advance to their second consecutive conference championship game and its second in as many seasons in the Commonwealth Conference. The team also avenged a 4-3 loss to the Blue Jays back on October 23.

After a scoreless first half, Williams scored the game-winning goal off a free kick from senior Catherine Madden (Bethesda, Md./Walter Johnson) in the 51st minute. Williams has now registered a point in the teams last five games.

Freshman Alexis Siejack (Baltimore, Md./Catholic) added an insurance goal with her team leading 14th goal of the season on a team leading eighth assist from Williams with just under three minutes remaining.

Sophomore Alicia Greene (Jarrettsville, Md./North Harford) totaled six saves for her fourth straight win and second consecutive shutout.

Elizabethtown (12-7) outshot Stevenson 13-9 while also holding a 10-2 advantage in corner kicks.

The Mustangs will travel to face top-seeded Messiah in a rematch of last year's conference championship match on Saturday at Shoemaker Field beginning at 5:00 p.m.. The Falcons defeated Stevenson at home to win the title a year ago.
