Box Score FREDERICK, Md. - Led by five different goal scorers, the Stevenson women's soccer team had seven different players register a point, including three front leading scorer freshman Alexis Siejack (Baltimore, Md./Catholic), in a convincing 5-0 victory over Hood Tuesday at Thomas Athletic Field.
With the win, the Mustangs (11-7-1, 4-3-1 MAC) moved up to fifth place in the Commonwealth Conference standings, one point ahead Lebanon Valley. With a win in the regular season finale, Stevenson will claim the final playoff spot.
Sophomore Allie Ondrejcak (Waldorf, Md./Thomas Stone) scored the game-winner late in the first half, her fourth career game winning goal and first this season. Four of her six career goals have been the game winning tally.
Siejack scored her 13th goal this seaosn off an assist from junior Meaghan Williams (Dundalk, Md./Dundalk) just 3:16 into the second half. Williams leads the team with seven assists.
Senior Alexa Narron (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) scored her first goal this season from her defensive position off an assist from Siejack before fellow senior Catherine Madden (Bethesda, Md./Walter Johnson) pushed the lead to 4-0.
Rounding out the scoring was sophomore Taylor Venturino (Hauppauge, N.Y./Hauppauge) who picked up her first goal of the year, assisted by junior Molly Malloy (York, Pa./York Suburban) who registerd her first point of the season.
Sophomore Alicia Greene (Jarrettsville, Md./North Harford) picked up her second win in her third consecutive start in goal.
Hood (3-14, 0-8 MAC) was led by Alexis Andrukat who finished with 11 saves.
The Mustangs outshot the Blazers 39-2, their highest shot total since October 24, 2012 when they had 46 against Hood.
Stevenson wraps up the regular season on Saturday, November 2 when they travel to face Alvernia beginning at 12:30 p.m. The Mustangs currently hold the final conference playoff spot and will be the fifth seed with a win and/or a Lebanon Valley loss to third-place Arcadia.
