OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Stevenson women's soccer team outshot Arcadia 29-10 and held an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks en route to posting its second shutout in the last three games at home as the Mustangs battled the Knights to a scoreless tie Saturday at Mustang Stadium.

Unbeaten in three of its last four at home, Stevenson (7-4-1, 1-1-1 MAC) was involved in a scoreless tie for the third time in the last two seasons and first since Sept. 24, 2011 at Frostburg State. The Mustangs also battled Cabrini to a scoreless tie last season in the first-ever game at Mustang Stadium on Sept. 1, 2011.

Stevenson held a 22-8 margin in shots through regulation, outshooting Arcadia 11-4 in each half. The Mustangs then outshot the Knights 7-2 in the two overtime periods.

Veronica Willig made six saves for Arcadia (7-3-3, 1-1-1 MAC) who is unbeaten in eight of its last nine, posting a 6-1-2 record. The team is also unbeaten in four road games this season with a 2-0-2 record.

Freshman Allison Johnson (Mt. Laurel, N.J./Lenape) totaled two saves in her sixth start of the season and remains unbeaten in her college career at 4-0-0.

Meanwhile, junior Lauren Weitzman (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) made her sixth appearance of the season and played the final 65 minutes. She only made one save, but it was a crucial one as she stopped a point blank shot by Arcadia's Kim Canfield in he 55th minute to preserve the shutout.

Stevenson travels to Widener on Wednesday for a 7:00 p.m., contest with the Pride.
