Box Score ANNVILLE, Pa. - Stevenson men's soccer senior Josh Brewer (Ocean City, N.J./Ocean City) opened up the scoring with a goal in the game's sixth minute, but Lebanon Valley freshman Cam Alexander scored just 3:28 into the first overtime to lead the Dutchmen to a 3-2 victory Wednesday at Herbert Field.
The Stevenson (5-7, 0-2 MAC) defense held Lebanon Valley scoreless for 80 minutes, its third-longest scoreless streak of the season, before Alexander netted his team-leading seventh goal of the season and his third-game winner.
After Brewer's goal, the Dutchmen (8-2-1, 1-1 MAC) scored two goals in the next eight minutes, while senior Ryan Pierce (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) scored the unassisted equalizer with 32 minutes left in regulation off a free kick.
Freshman Kenneth Hersey (Clarksville, Md./Atholton) was tagged with the loss and falls to 1-3 on the season with a career-high eight saves on 17 shots faced. Lebanon Valley's James Clements made seven saves on 16 shots faced.
Stevenson returns to action Saturday when it hosts a Commonwealth Conference contest against Arcadia at Mustang Stadium beginning at 1:00 p.m.
