ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - Led by one goal and one assist from both Kate Roderick and Lauren Wingert, the Elizabethtown women's soccer team scored three second half goals to lead the Blue Jays past Stevenson Saturday at Herr Field, 3-0.

The feast or famine continues for the Mustangs (4-5) who were involved in their ninth shutout of the season.

The game-winner and second goal for Elizabethtown came just two minutes apart only 3:20 into the second half.

After a scoreless first half, junior Brittany Ross (Millersville/Severna Park) gave way to sophomore Lauren Weitzman (Westminster/Winters Mill) who allowed all three Blue Jay goals, including the game-winner off the head of Kathryn Ritter in the 49th minute off a cross by Kate Roderick.

Roderick then added Elizabethtown's second goal 2:16 later off a feed from Wingert on a corner kick before Wingert capped the scoring in the 84th minute on a free kick.

The Blue Jays (4-3-1) held a 13-8 edge in shots, but both teams were even on corner kicks at four.

Ross played 45 scoreless minutes in the first half with one save while Weitzman allowed three goals and made three saves.

The Mustangs continue their brief two-game road trip with a CAC contest at Hood on Wednesday beginning at 4:30 p.m. Stevenson is 8-2 in its last 10 conference games, including 4-0 on the road.
