BALTIMORE, Md. - Stevenson freshman
Avery Gabbard (Arnold/Broadneck) totaled a
game-high 11 kills, but it wasn't enough to stop Johns Hopkins from
winning its fourth-straight as the Blue Jays swept the Mustangs in
straight sets, 25-21, 25-22, 25-12 Wednesday night at Goldfarb
Gymnasium.
The win was also the 200th career victory for Hopkins head coach
Greg Giovanazzi who is now 30-9 in two seasons with the Blue Jays
(10-2).
It was the second-straight game and fifth this season in which
Gabbard has totaled 10 or more kills. She was one shy of her
