For the Mustangs (14-16, 10-6 CAC), the loss was their sixth in
the last 10 conference contests and dropped them to third in the

one-game ahead of Stevenson in second.

time in 31 games this season, took control of the game
early with seven runs over the first two innings while Eric Willey
retired the first six batters he faced, including four on two
double plays.
Cody Collins provided the only run Salisbury would need with a
leadoff home run to left center on the first pitch of the
bottom of the first off of junior starter Derrick Nason
(Catonsville/Reservoir).
Collins finished the game 3-for-6 with two RBIs. Ryan Smith and
Chad Wolfe also had three hits while Miller was 5-for-6 with

who totaled just seven, all against Willey who earned his sixth win
in nine starts this year. He also had five strikeouts.
