with two outs in the top of the ninth snapped a three-game losing
streak for the Stevenson University baseball team and capped a
come-from-behind 6-5 victory over No. 21 York (Pa.) on Wednesday at
Jaquet Field.
Anderson finished the game 2-for-3 with three RBIs for the

strong innings, scattering nine hits and four walks to pick up his
team-leading fourth win in his fifth start.

up his second career save, retiring three of the five batters
he faced in the bottom of the ninth, including Matt Monti who
grounded out to end the game with the tying run on third.
Anderson started the scoring when he reached on an error in the
top of the first that scored sophomore Dustin Tarlow
(Finksburg/Westminster). Anderson later scored on an
RBI single by senior Griffin Stewart (Reisterstown/Bel
Air).
The Mustangs took a 4-1 lead after two innings after Anderson's
two-run double to right scored Tarlow and sophomore Andrew
Chase (Ellicott City/River Hill).
The Spartans (16-3, 7-1 CAC) rallied to take a 5-4 lead with two
runs in the third and solo home runs in the fourth and fifth. Rob
Klinck scored on a wild pitch and Kyle Cook scored on an RBI
single by Ryan Poff in the third before Jim Meehan and Poff
each homered to left.
Freshman Jake Sodeman (Davidsonville/South
River), pinch-running for sophomore Steve Krider
(Westminster/Westminster), scored the game-tying run
in the ninth on Tarlow's two-out RBI double after Krider singled as
a pinch hitter for senior Sean Dolan
(Odenton/Arundel).
Tarlow finished 2-for-5 with three runs and an RBI while
Stewart was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Junior George Papuchis
(Damascus/Good Counsel) also had two hits for the
