Camden, NJ- The Mustangs played their third game in
four days against Alvernia College in the consolation game of the
Cialella Soccer Classic. The Mustangs were defeated 3-0 in a
tiring gruel against the Crusaders.
Alvernia scored at 24:50 and their second goal came at 41:15 off
of a rebound after sophomore goalie, Adam
Wiatrowski (Baltimore, MD/Patapsco,) saved the ball from
hitting the net twice. At halftime, the Crusaders were up 2-0
over the Mustangs. In the second half, the Mustangs gave it
their all but fell short loosing the game 3-0.
The Mustangs have a rest until their game on Wednesday, September
12, when they host Virginia-Wesleyan at 4:00pm on the field at the
Stevenson Campus.
