Washington, DC - The Mustangs (4-4) started their CAC
campaign with a resounding 6-1 victory over Gallaudet
University (0-7). After scoring their first goal in the first five
minutes of the game through freshman Tyler King
(Carney, MD/Calvert Hall) the Mustangs never
looked back. The Mustangs out-shot the Bison 17-4 in the first half
and further goals from Justin Carver and
Brent Woolford (Pasadena,
MD/Northeast) illustrated the Mustangs dominance.
Villa Julie added to the scoresheet in the second half with
goals from Scott Andrzejewski (Towson, MD/Towson), Mark
Franklin (Roseland, VA/Nelson County) and
Woolford grabbed his second of the afternoon.
Goalkeeper Adam Wiatrowski (Baltimore,
MD/Patapsco) recorded 8 saves in the victory.
The Mustangs will take on highly ranked CAC opponent York
College on Wednesday, September 26, at Owings Mills at 4pm.
