With the weather bearing down on the Mid Atlantic region,
the Mustangs pounded out 19 runs on 24 hits enroute to 2 victories
over conference foe Philadelphia Biblical University to raise
their record to 16-9 (10-0).
In game 1, Mustangs starter, sophomore Chris
Hayden pitched 4 strong innings, not allowing a run to
pick up his 2nd victory of the season.
Offensively, junior Buddy Breidenbaugh
finished 3-4 with a double, and a triple along with 2 RBI's.
Junior Alex Laddbush, and sophomre
Bryan Chouinard each added 2 hits as the Mustangs
defeated the Eagles by a score of 12-3.
In game 2, the Mustangs came out a little flat, but thanks
to freshman John Jackson (2-0), the Mustangs
continued their dominance on the mound as they defeated the Eagles
7-1 lowering their conference ERA to 1.03.
Offensively, sophomore Chris Hayden,
and junior Buddy Breidenbaugh each picked up
2 hits, while juniors Jimmy Smith and
Alex Laddbush each picked up 2 RBI's.
The Mustangs are back in action in a non conference game Tuesday at
home versus Shenandoah University for a 5 pm start at Bachman
Sports Complex.
