Westminster, MD.- Villa beats McDaniel in a nail biter 10-9.  The Mustangs took a commanding lead after the top of the 4th at 8-1 only to see McDaniel battle back with 4 in the bottom of the 4th, 3 more on a Home Run by Russell Coover in the bottom of the 8th.  Jr Jimmy Smith started the scoring in the top of the first with a solo Home Run, and Sr Kevin Rodgers followed with a solo Home Run in the top of the 2nd as the Mustangs scored 6 of the first 7 innings.  Unfortunately, mistakes in the field caught up to Villa's starter So Ryan Baione as he tired in the 8th giving up the 3 run Home Run.  After McDaniel got the tying run to 3rd with 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth, Villa went to their closer Jr Alex Laddbush who got the strikeout to preserve the win and pick up his 2nd save.  Offensively, Jimmy Smith was 2-5 with 3 RBI's, Laddbush 2-5 with 2 RBI's, Rodgers 2-5 1 RBI, Fr John Cummings 3-5, and Sr Dave Brown was 2-4 3 RBI's.  

The Mustangs are back in action Friday in their home opener vs Gettysburg at 4:30.
