OWINGS MILLS, MD - The Villa Julie Women's Soccer team were defeated today by a lone goal against Ursinus College. The game was a defensive battle with both teams limiting any clear goal-scoring opportunities. The deadlock was finally broken in the 74th minute when Ursinus scored from a corner and they held on for the 1-0 win. The game was played at a high intensity and both teams worked hard to retain the ball. Goalkeeper Casey Brown (Barnesville, MD/Poolesville) was in top form again as she recorded 15 saves in the game.  

Villa Julie (8-9) will finish up their regular season schedule on Wednesday 24th October when they take on the University of Mary Washington in conference play at Owings Mills at 3:30pm. The game will be a special day as the Mustangs will be honoring 10 seniors.
