Box Score READING, Pa. - The Stevenson women's tennis team (4-6, 1-2 MACC) picked up its first MAC Commonwealth win in a 6-1 triumph over host Alvernia.

Ariella Stepleman and Sofia McCoy picked up their first victory as a duo in No. 1 doubles, 7-5. Kara Chwang and Tiffany Njemanze won their No. 2 match, 6-2, for their first win on the year. 

Stepleman (1) won her fifth singles match of the year, 6-4, 6-2. 

Both Emma Clayton (3) and Njemanze (5) cruised to 6-1, 6-1 victories. This was Clayton's fourth win of the season and Njemanze's third. 

Chwang (4) won her third match of the year in dominating fashion, 6-2, 6-0.

The Mustangs will look to even up their conference record when they take on York (Pa.) on Saturday, April 18 (Senior Day). First serve is set for 1 p.m. at the Greenspring Campus Tennis Courts.
