Box Score STEVENSON, Md. - The Stevenson women's tennis team (4-7, 1-3 MACC) fell to York on Senior Day by a score of 6-1.
Ariella Stepleman and
Shelby Carter dropped their No. 1 doubles match, 6-2, which evens their record at 1-1.
Mackenzie Dicke and
Tiffany Njemanze fell in No. 2 by the same margin.
Kara Chwang and
Bethany Luckett picked up the lone doubles win for the Mustangs, 6-4.
Stepleman lost a hard-fought match in three sets, 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (7-6) to even her record at 5-5.
Emma Clayton and Chwang also lost their singles matches in three sets by scores of 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 and 6-4, 1-6, 6-2.
Njemanze won in her No. 5 match, 6-1, 6-0. Njemanze is 4-2 in singles play thus far.
Dicke fell in her singles match for the Mustangs in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3. Dicke is now 2-3 on the season.
The Mustangs will close out their regular season at Eastern on Wed., April 22 at 3:30 p.m.
