GRANTHAM, Pa. - The fourth-seeded Stevenson women's tennis team fell in their MAC Commonwealth semifinal match to top-seeded Messiah by a 4-0 score.
Ariella Stepleman and
Shelby Carter dropped a hard-fought match in No. 1 doubles, 6-4.
Kara Chwang and
Sofia McCoy lost a close match in No. 2, 7-5. Chwang and McCoy end the season at 3-1 as a duo.
Tiffany Njemanze and
Emma Clayton fell by a 6-3 score.
Stepleman fell in her No. 1 singles match, 6-1, 6-2, giving her a 6-7 record on the year. McCoy dropped her match in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2. Chwang lost her No. 5 match, 6-0, 6-2. Chwang ends the season with five victories.
Messiah will take on second-seeded Albright in the MAC Commonwealth Final on Saturday, May 2 at 1 p.m.
