RESISTERTOWN, Md. – The Stevenson University women's ice hockey team (4-19-1 overall, 4-15-1 MAC) fell to Arcadia (17-6-2 overall, 15-5-1 MAC) 4-1 in overtime on Friday evening.
Arcadia struck first on a power play advantage nearing the 14th minute in the first period. The Knights tacked on a goal two minutes into the second period, where the Mustangs countered it with a goal of their own coming from Carleigh Barwick assisted from Kira Otto and Kylie Chandler.
Arcadia tacked on two more goals one coming in the second period and one empty netter.
Emily Carson held in down in goal making 40 saves.
The Mustangs return to action tomorrow when they travel to Hershey Park Arena to face Lebanon Valley for their last game of the season. Puck drop is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
