PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -
Dallas Fowler earned two personal bests at the Widener Indoor Classic, held at the Ott Center on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.
Fowler clocked an 8.04 in the 60m preliminaries, where she took 13th out of 37 competitors and improved her MAC qualifying mark for championships. With her improved time, she also notched herself a qualifying spot in the AARTFC Regional meet. Fowler would also run a 1:01.98 in the 400, running through the line for a personal record and added another event to her list of MAC qualifications.Â
Kaitlyn Hess had distances of 4.70m and 9.98 in the long and triple jump events, while
Sarah Kroedel ran a 9.82 in the 60m hurdles prelims.Â
Kaliyah Heffner,
Hannah Kepler and
Destiny Stephens clocked times of 8.32, 8.38 and 8.51 in the 60m prelims. Kepler would also run a 29.18 in the 200.
Heffner, Stephens, Fowler and
Laylah Talley ran a season-best time of 4:26.17 in the 4x400.Â
The Mustangs compete next at the Father Diamond Invitational - the squad's final tune-up before the MAC Championships - on Saturday, Feb. 21, at George Mason University.Â
