LEWISBURG, Pa. -
Dallas Fowler and
Kaliyah Heffner earned personal bests to lead the Mustangs at the Bucknell Tune Up, the Mustangs' final meet before the MAC Championships.
Fowler ran a 8.10 in the 60m prelims before finishing eighth in the finals with a time of 8.16. Heffner clocked a personal-best 8.17 in the prelims, which gave her ninth overall.
Fowler would also clock a PR of 27.18 in the 200m, while Heffner ran a personal-best 27.46.
Fowler would also lead the 4x400m relay team of
Destiny Stephens,
Camryn Stanard and
Aryanna Jones to a second-place finish with a time of 4:30.05.
Laylah Talley turned in a solid time of 10.07 in the 60m hurdles prelims, which gave her 12th overall. Talley would also jump a personal-best distance of 4.54m in the long jump.
Kyrah Agbemble and
Nneoma Oseagulu had top throws of 13.21m and 11.65m in the weight throw.
The Mustangs compete next at the
MAC Indoor Championships, held at the PLEX at Alvernia University, starting on Friday, Feb. 27.
