NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Stevenson women's lacrosse team was selected third in the 2026 MAC Commonwealth Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Preseason Poll, as released by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office on Wednesday morning. The Mustangs enter the 2026 season following a runner-up finish in the 2025 MAC Commonwealth Championship.

York (Pa.) was picked to finish first in the poll after capturing last season's conference title, earning 49 points and seven first-place votes. Messiah followed closely in second with 42 points, while Stevenson rounded out the top three with 38 points.

Widener was tabbed fourth with 31 points, followed by Hood in fifth with 25 points. Alvernia, Albright, and Eastern completed the poll.

Stevenson opens the 2026 regular season at home on February 7, welcoming Salisbury University to Mustang Stadium. First draw is scheduled for noon.
