NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its 2026 All-Region teams on Friday. Within the student-athletes selected for this honor was Olivia Galati, Caroline Layman, and Ava Treakle of Stevenson women's lacrosse. 

Galati was a strong force on attack for the Mustangs, tallying 47 points off 33 goals and 14 assists in just 11 games played. The attacker also contributed on the draw, winning 32 draw controls, and was effective on the ride causing 14 turnovers and picking up 19 ground balls. 

Layman led the Mustang defense this season, causing 19 turnovers in the defensive zone, and picking up 32 ground balls on the season. 

Treakle was a well-rounded contributor on both sides of the ball for the Mustangs this season, slotting 48 points on 37 goals and 11 assists, while also winning 93 draw controls placing her at fifth in program history for draw controls in a single season. On the defensive side, the midfielder caused 16 turnovers while snatching 23 ground balls.
