MACON, Ga. – Stevenson men's ice hockey alumnus,
Nick Dineen, inked a contract with Macon Mayhem of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL).
A standout defenseman for the Mustangs, Dineen played in 98 contests and notched 56 blocks and 23 points off 20 assists and three goals. The North Carolina native also received MAC Academic Honor Roll and UCHA All-Academic Team honors during his career.
"I couldn't be happier to have signed with such a great program here in Macon," said Dineen. "This is something I've been working towards for a long time, and I'm thrilled with the opportunity to continue to grow in the sport with the support of the team. I'm really looking forward to seeing what we can do this season. Let's go Mayhem!"
The Mayhem and Dineen will hit the ice on October 18 to open the season against Pensacola.
