Palmer joins Acrobatics and Tumbling staff as Assistant Coach

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Head Acrobatics and Tumbling Coach Megan Despres announced Chloe Palmer will be joining the Acrobatics and Tumbling coaching staff on Tuesday.

"I am thrilled to have Chloe joining our coaching staff for our Acrobatics & Tumbling team. Chloe comes from a strong background in Acrobatics Gymnastics as well as collegiate A&T," stated Despres. "We are looking forward to adding her skill set to the team, as well as her vibrant energy to empower and mentor our athletes on and off the mat."

Palmer comes to Stevenson following a year stint as the Assistant Coach at West Liberty University where she would assist in meet day set up operations, managing practices, and lift sessions, and recruiting. Prior to collegiate coaching, Palmer served as an acrobatics gymnastics assistant coach with International Elite for 1st Class Gymnastics where she led and programed conditioning circuits, routines, and practice sessions.

As a member of the Acrobatics & Tumbling squad at West Liberty, Palmer was a standout A&T student-athlete receiving NCATA Academic Honor Roll accolades twice and set two West Liberty program records. Palmer graduated in 2024 with her Bachelor of Arts in Health & Physical Education in 2024.
