Flanagan named first-team All-MAC and first-team All-Region by AVCA

NEWTOWN, Pa. - Stevenson University men's volleyball senior Tim Flanagan received two honors on Monday as post-season awards were announced.

Flanagan was honored as a first-team All-MAC selection at outside hitter and was also named as an All-Region selection by the American Volleyball Coaches' Association.

His first-team selection by the MAC coaches marks the fourth time he has been named All-MAC. He was a first-team selection last season, while also being named All-Region on his way to honorable mention All-American.

This season, Flanagan had 327 kills which was third in the MAC and his hitting percentage of .315 was six among league leaders.

He crossed the 1,000 kill plateau early in the season, finishing his career with 1,250 kills. He had a high water mark of 36 kills in a match win over Randolph-Macon, which was in the top ten all-time for kills in a five-set match in Division III history.

Flanagan now moves on the national ballot for consideration as an All-American.
