Owings Mills, Md. (October 13) – The Stevenson Mustangs men's basketball team has unveiled its 2025–26 schedule, featuring a competitive non-conference slate and a challenging run through the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth.
The Mustangs open the season at home on Friday, November 7
, hosting Goucher inside Owings Mills Gymnasium. The early portion of the schedule also includes home match ups against cross-MAC opponent Lebanon Valley (Nov. 11), Penn State Brandywine (Nov. 14), and either Hartwick or St. Joe's (Nov. 15). Road highlights include contests at Gallaudet (Nov. 19), St. Mary's (Nov. 22), and Eastern Mennonite (Nov. 25). Stevenson will also host FDU-Florham on Dec. 6 and Wilson on Dec. 16 before traveling to Huntingdon, Pa., for the Juniata Tournament on Dec. 29–30.
Conference action begins in the new year, but the Mustangs will be traveling to Johns Hopkins on Saturday, January 3, before diving into MAC Commonwealth play. Home highlights include marquee match ups against Hood (Jan. 14), Eastern (Jan. 17), Albright (Jan. 28), Alvernia (Jan. 31), York (Pa.), (Feb. 11), Messiah (Feb. 14), and Widener (Feb. 21). Stevenson will also face each Commonwealth opponent on the road, including Messiah (Jan. 7), Alvernia (Jan. 10), York (Pa.) (Jan. 21), Widener (Jan. 24), Hood (Feb. 4), Eastern (Feb. 7), and Albright (Feb. 18).
The MAC Commonwealth Tournament will begin on Wednesday, February 25 and a champion will be crowned on Saturday, February 28. The higher seeded team will be named the host in each round, and the winner of the MAC Commonwealth title will earn the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament.
