OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Stevenson men's swimming team split its tri-meet against Messiah (137-105) and York (63-186).
Zachary Clark led the way for the Mustangs with two second-place and one third-place finish. Clark took second in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:53.10 - .63 seconds behind first place. Clark's other second-place finish came in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:11.87. Clark would take third in the 100 Fly with a 55.86.
In the 200 Yard Medley Relay,
Justin Watts,
Brandon Cogdill, Clark and
William Lebron took third with a combined time of 1:47.07.
Cogdill picked up a second-place finish in the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:30.34, while also taking third in both the 100 Breast (1:08.05) and 200 IM (2:11.67).
Zachory Hogg placed third in the 200 Free with a 2:00.07, while Lebron took third in both the 100 Back (1:00.71) and 200 Back (2:12.71).
Jack Mark placed third in the 200 Breast (2:37.28) and fourth in the 100 Breast (1:09.92). Watts picked up fourth-place finishes in the 100 Back (1:01.04) and 50 Free (23.76).
Brendan Lach earned fourth place in both the 500 Free (5:20.91) and 1000 Free (11:05.28) for the Mustangs.
The Mustangs (6-4, 5-1 MAC) will compete in their final tune-up before the MAC Championships when they host the Last Chance Qualifier on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m.
