Nathan Williams broke yet another school record in the weight throw with a top toss of 20.54m at the Plex Shootout, hosted by Alvernia. Williams, who took first place in the event, currently has the top throw in the Mid-Atlantic region and second best in Division III. Williams would also win the shot put with a top throw of 15.57m. Williams has the third-best shot put performance in the region and 18th best in DIII (16.22m).
Jalen Thomas earned a personal best in the triple jump with a hop, skip and jump of 12.80m, which gave him fourth-place overall.
Parker Weigel - who placed seventh in the event - also jumped a personal best (11.70m). Weigel would also earn a PR in the pole vault with a top height of 3.90m.Â
Dominic Snipes ran a 24.47 in the 200, while
Conner Hall clocked personal bests in both the 60m (7.60m) and 200 (24.74).
Stevenson competes next at the two-day DIII Pre-Nationals, held at the Virginia Beach Sports Complex, starting on Friday, Feb. 9.
