WINCHESTER, Va. - The Stevenson men's track and field team opened its indoor season at the Holiday Kickoff Open, hosted by Shenandoah. The Mustangs were led by
Fabrice Saint Hillien who won the 400 and placed second in the 200. Saint Hillien won the 400 by .88 seconds with a time of 50.42, while clocking a 22.57 in the 200 to take second overall.
The Mustangs finished sixth out of 10 teams with a score of 53.
Frank McCann opened up his collegiate career with a third-place finish in the 400 with a time of 51.36 — just .06 behind the second-place finisher. McCann would also take seventh out of 19 competitors in the 800 with a solid time of 2:11.2.
Logan Frazee finished one spot behind McCann with a time of 2:11.64 in his first collegiate race. Frazee also placed 10th in the mile with a time of 4:58.32.
Parker Weigel took second in the pole vault with a top height of 3.95m, while
Cory Cherenfant finished fourth in the high jump (1.63m).
Isaiah Halley placed seventh in the 3000 with a time of 9:45.14.
Andrew Parker placed seventh in the 60m hurdle finals with a 9.56.
Zachary Moore had a top distance of 11.82m in the long jump, which gave him sixth place.
The Stevenson "A" team placed eighth in the 4x400 with a time of 3:37.76.
Stevenson will have a break from competition until Friday, Jan. 24 when they travel to the Winter Evening Invite at UPenn, hosted by Widener.
