WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Stevenson women's swimming team improved its record to 4-2 overall and 3-0 in the conference after sweeping their tri-meet over host Wilkes and King's College by scores of 141-84 and 188-11.
Mackayla Du led the way for the Mustangs with first-place finishes in both the 50 Free and 200 Yard IM with times of 26.64 and 2:30.69. Du would also place second in the 100 Fly with a 1:07.53.
Alexa Darak picked up two victories for the Mustangs in the 100 and 200 Fly with times of 1:06.68 and 2:25.27. Darak also took second in the 200 Breast (2:53.14).
Natalie Kent won the 1000 Free with a time of 13:10.79, while also taking second in the 100 Free (1:04.86). Sophia Schultze took first in the 200 Breast with a 2:46.10.
Eryn O'Brien touched the wall first in the 200 Back with a 2:29.21, while
Rachel Balcer and
Brianna Morris took second and third in the 100 Back with times of 1:15.52 and 1:26.64.
Rachel Kaczmarski took second in the 200 Free with a 2:13.35. Kaczmarski, Schultze,
Hailey Buenemann and Du took first in the 200 Medley Relay with a combined time of 2:05.17.
Stevenson competes next in a home meet against McDaniel on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 2:30 p.m.
