NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Executive Director Megan Morrison announced the 2026 Swimming Academic All-MAC team. A total of 10 student-athletes from both men's and women's swim teams were recognized for academic and athletic excellence. Alexa Darak was the sole Mustang named to the team.
Darak capped off her senior year with six event victories and 19 podium finishes. She participated in the MAC Championships and secured five top-eight times across eight events. The senior who majored in Psychology finished the year with five personal bests, was named to the MAC Academic Honor roll, and named to the CSC Academic All-District.
The Winter Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes for their athletic and academic contributions during the semester of their championship. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams. The weight is split half on academic success and half on athletic success. A student-athlete must have a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher in the semester of their championship season to be eligible for the award.
