DANBURY, Conn. – The Stevenson University football team will play at least one more game during the 2024 season, as the Mustangs were one of six teams to an Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Bowl game on Monday afternoon.
The Mustangs will take on another Mustang squad – SUNY-Morrisville – on Saturday in the Robert M. "Scotty" Whitelaw Bowl in New York. Time is set for noon.
Stevenson is making its first appearance in an ECAC bowl game since 2017, while SUNY-Morrisville is making its fifth postseason appearance. Morrisville – out of the Empire 8 – is 6-4 on the season and went 5-2 in the Empire 8.
This is the tenth time in program history that Stevenson has appeared in the postseason.
