MADISON, N.J. – The Stevenson University men's swimming team moved to 9-1 on the year, and 3-0 in the MAC, as the Mustangs defeated FDU-Florham on Thursday by a 111-67 score.
The Mustangs started the meet by winning the opening 200 yard medley relay with
Sean Sopko,
Brady Gotter,
Ian D'Angiolillo and Zach Hogg finishing with a time of 1:49.15
In the 1000 free, Zac Clark was second with a time of 11:36.14, with
Hayden Kaus third at 11:42.66.
Brandon Cogdill was second in the 200 free at 2:01.94 followed by
Riley Strain in third at 2:04.03.
Jack Mark won the 50 free at 25.51, with Hogg second at 25.70. Sopko took second in the 400 IM at 4:50.74 with D'Angiolillo third at 5:00.68.
Strain won the 100 fly at 59.65 with Cogdill third at 1:02.22.
In the 100 free, Clark was the top finisher at 52.16, with Hogg second at 58.20 and
Skyler Coburn third at 58.69.
Gotter won the 100 back at 1:06.37 with Welsh second at 1:08.54.
D'Angiolillo was second in the 500 free at 5:38.41 with Strain third at 5:48.63.
In the 100 breast Sopko was second at 1:07.20 and Clark third at 1:07.87.
The team of Welsh, Kaus, Mark and Cogdill were second in the 200 free relay at 1:43.37.
