WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Stevenson University women's swimming team ran its record to 4-0 on the young season, defeating its cross-county rival McDaniel 55-39 and also earning a win over St. Mary's of Maryland 50-45, in a tri meet at McDaniel on Saturday.
Stevenson took the opening 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:59.79, as the team of
Zoey Lincoln,
Jennie Hudson,
Mackenzie Payne and
Abigail Bachman won the event by over two seconds.
In the 1000 free,
Bailey Jackson was second with a time of 11:47.74.
Mackayla Du was second in the 200 free at 2:10.57, with
Alexa Darak third at 2:12.49.
Jackson was second in the 400 IM at 5:16.19, with Hudson third at 5:35.30.
Hailey Buenemann was second in the 200 fly at 2:29.64 with Darak third at 2:30.74.
In the 100 free, Du was second at 58.30 with Payne third at 59.11.
Rachel Kaczmarski was second at 2:30.51 in the 200 back, with Lincoln third at 2:33.48.
Buenemann was third in the 500 free at 6:18.91.
Du took second in the 200 breast stroke at 2:48.53 with Hudson third at 2:50.63.
The team of Jackson, Kaczmarski, Darak and Buenemann was third at 1:54.64.
Stevenson takes on King's and Wilkes next Saturday.
