WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Stevenson University men's swimming team split a tri-meet with McDaniel and St. Mary's of Maryland on Saturday, defeating the Green Terror 59-36 but falling to the Seahawks 79-25.
The Mustangs started the meet by taking third in the 200 yard medley relay as the team of
Riley Strain,
Jack Mark,
Zachory Hogg and
Skyler Coburn were third with a time of 1:55.14.
In the 1000 free,
Ian D'Angiolillo was first with a time of 11:22.65, while
Haden Welsh was third at 12:50.79.
Sean Sopko was second in the 200 free at 1:52.55, with
Zachary Clark going third in the 50 free at 23.54.
Brandon Cogdill was second in the 400 IM at 4:48.99, while D'Angiolillo third in the 200 fly at 2:14.71.
Cogdill was third in the 100 free at 55.27, with Sopko taking third in the 200 back at 2:06.90.
Clark was second in the 500 free at 5:32.20, while teaming up with D'Angiolillo, Cogdill and Sopko to take second in the 200 free relay at 1:35.06.
Stevenson takes on King's and Wilkes next Saturday.
