WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Stevenson University women's swimming team ran its record to 6-0 with a sweep of two Wilkes-Barre schools on Saturday.
The Mustangs earned a MAC victory over King's 152-19, while also defeating Wilkes, 133-52.
The Mustangs took the opening 400 yard medley relay as
Sydney Kawana,
Jennie Hudson,
Hailey Buenemann and
Rachel Kaczmarski won the event at 4:43.31.
In the 1000 free,
Emmalynn Kohl was second with a time of 12:55.49.
Bailey Jackson won the 200 free at 2:09.38, while Kawana was second with a time of 2:25.93.
Mackenzie Payne was first in the 50 free at 27.44.
Mackayla Du was first in the 200 IM at 2:27.22, while
Alexa Darak was second at 2:30.39.
Payne picked up her second win of the day with a victory in the 100 fly at 1:07.15 with Kawana second at 1:15.60 and Allie Fitzgerald third at 1:18.15.
Jackson got her second win of the day in the 100 free at 59.73, with Darak in third at 1:05.33
Du won the 100 back at 1:09.93, with Kaczmarski second at 1:10.12.
Hudson was second in the 500 free at 6:25.43.
The team of Darak, Payne, Jackson and Du won the 400 free relay at 4:11.12.
Stevenson heads to Gallaudet on Saturday.
