Women's Tennis Dominates Host Trinity (D.C.), 9-0

Box Score WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Stevenson women's tennis team picked up their first win of the year in a 9-0 shutout over host Trinity (D.C).

Torrienne Emery and Jacquelyn Nesbeth opened up play with an 8-3 win in No. 1 doubles, while Kera Skove and Mackenzie Dicke cruised to an 8-0 win in No. 2. Samantha Zudov and Erin Saunders picked up an 8-3 win in No. 3.

Emery continued Stevenson's winning ways with a straight-set 6-2, 6-0 triumph in No. 1 singles. Nesbeth took down her opponent in No. 2 by a 6-1, 6-0 score, while Skove cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win. 

Dicke, Zudov and Jazmine Arias each shutout their opponents in straight sets by scores of 6-0, 6-0 in No. 4, 5 and 6 singles. 

Stevenson returns to action on Friday, September 23 when they start play in the ITA Regional Championships, held in Skillman, N.J.
