CAMDEN N.j. – Stevenson men's soccer wrapped up its second contest in as many days, playing Rutgers-Camden to a scoreless draw on a rainy Sunday.
The Mustangs move to 0-2-3, while the Scarlet Raptors are now 2-2-1.
Joe Nicholson had an early look ring off the post in the eighth minute and Stevenson continued applying pressure offensively with three consecutive corner kicks. Nick Sirasky lifted a scoring chance high in the 12th minute.
Rutgers-Camden countered with a header off the crossbar in the 18th minute as both teams traded possession for the remainder of the half. Kristian Slaby denied the lone shot on goal in the second half from Rutgers-Camden in the 64th minute, preserving the shutout.
Looking to break the scoreless tie, the Mustangs tallied two more attempts on the half, missing wide right on both.
