STEVENSON, Md. - The Stevenson women's tennis team dropped its third-straight match in a 9-0 setback to visiting York (Pa.). After starting 2-0, the Mustangs now sit at 2-3 in the MAC Commonwealth standings.
Senior Jacquelyn Nesbeth and sophomore Samantha Zudov dropped an 8-4 decision in No. 2 doubles, while sophomore Kera Skove and freshman Jazmine Arias fell by an 8-3 score in No. 3.
Senior Torrienne Emery overcame a one-set deficit in No. 1 singles, but would fall in a 10-4 tiebreak.
Both Skove and freshman Alexandria Kramer dropped their matches by the same 6-3, 6-1 margin.
Arias fell in a competitive No. 6 singles match, 6-4, 6-3.
The Mustangs will look to even up their conference record in a match at Alvernia on Saturday, April 23. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m.
