CHESTERTOWN, Md. - The Stevenson women's tennis team opened its spring season with losses to both Wilkes and host Washington College (Md.) by scores of 9-0 and 8-0.
In the Mustangs' match against Wilkes, junior Torrienne Emery and senior Jacquelyn Nesbeth picked up two games in their No. 1 doubles defeat, while freshmen Kera Skove and Alexandria Kramer fell by the same 8-2 score.
Emery and Nesbeth would drop their No. 1 and 2 singles matches by scores of 8-1 and 8-2.
Against Washington College (Md.), Emery fell in her No. 1 singles match by an 8-1 score.
Stevenson (1-2) takes on Mount Aloysius in a home match on Friday, March 11 at 3:00 p.m.
