Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Stevenson men's soccer found its footing throughout the evening, eventually dictating pace and play towards the end of regulation, but could not solve the stout Coast Guard defense in a 1-0 overtime defeat on Saturday night at Mustang Stadium.
Noah Engstrom closed out the back-and-forth clash with the game-winning tally off a pass from John Flood, lifting Coast Guard to a 2-0 mark on the season. Meanwhile, Stevenson falls to 0-2 in a second consecutive overtime defeat.
- Offense and posession were tough to come by for the Mustangs in the early going as Coast Guard put a swarming defensive strategy on full display.
