HOBOKEN, N.J. -- Stevenson men's soccer allowed a goal less than five minutes into the game and could not recover in a 1-0 setback to Stevens on Saturday afternoon. 

Stevenson (4-4-1) received a season-high seven saves from goalkeeper Kristian Slaby in the road defeat. For Stevens (5-2-1), Sean Masu buried the early tally for the Ducks. 

• After an early shot attempt, Stevens cashed in for the 1-0 edge in the 5th minute. 
• Iliass Zouita countered with a header chance that keeper Aedan Boriotti stopped in the 16th minute. 
• Stevens kept up the offensive pressure before Edson DeMata turned a shot high with just about 40 seconds left in the opening half. 

• Chris Gonzales opened the second half with an early header for the Mustangs. The hosts responded with an Adam Silva attempt about two minutes later, with Slaby stepping up to make the stop. 
• Dylan Holy launched a shot wide to the right before a pair of yellow cards, one for each side, were shown. 
• Slaby continued keeping the Mustangs within striking distance, logging saves in the 65th, 70th and 72nd minute as part of a quick flurry of Stevens chances. 
• The Mustangs pressed ahead, but could not solve the Stevens defense. Two attempts were blocked before Boriotti made two final saves to preserve the 1-0 lead for Stevens. 

• Stevens held a 17-12 edge in shots. 
• The teams combined for 29 fouls on the afternoon. 
• Slaby made five or more saves for the second time this season, previously making six at Immaculata.
• Four different Mustangs posted a shot. 

• Stevenson: The Mustangs cap their four-game road swing with a trip to Mary Washington on Wednesday, September 29 at 4:00 PM.
