ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Stevenson women's tennis team fell to host Lebanon Valley by an 8-1 score at the Shankroff Tennis Center. The loss drops the Mustangs' conference record to 3-2 on the season.
Sophomore Torrienne Emery and senior Megan Waskiewicz fell in a hard-fought match in No. 1 doubles, 8-7. Senior Esha Kashmiri and junior Jacquelyn Nesbeth fell in No. 2 by an 8-3 score.
Waskiewicz and Nesbeth dropped their No. 2 and No. 3 singles matches in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0 and 6-1, 6-1.
Freshman Kera Skove fell in her No. 6 match, 7-5, 6-1.
Stevenson's lone win came via retirement in No. 1 singles.
The Mustangs (3-5, 3-2 MAC) close out the regular season in a home match against Alvernia on Saturday, May 1. First serve is set for 12:00 p.m.
