STEVENSON, Md. - The Stevenson women's tennis team won its third straight match in an 8-1 rout over Eastern. The win puts the Mustangs at 3-3 overall and 3-0 in the MAC.
Sophomore Torrienne Emery and senior Esha Kashmiri dominated their No. 1 doubles opponents by an 8-2 score.
Freshmen Jacquelyn Nesbeth and Kera Skove picked up hard-fought 8-6 win in No. 2, while freshmen Alexandria Kramer and Samantha Zudov cruised to an 8-1 win in No. 3.
Emery won her second-straight match in No. 1 singles, 6-4, 1-6, 6-2, while Nesbeth won her third-straight singles match by a 6-3, 6-3 score.
Kashmiri picked up her second win in a row, 6-4, 7-6 (6-3).
Zudov won her No. 5 match in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4. Kramer shutout her opponent in No. 6., 8-0.
The Mustangs continue their conference slate in a road match against York (Pa.) on Saturday, April 24 at 11:00 a.m.
