FREDERICK, Md - On Saturday afternoon the Stevenson women's swimming team collected their second win over Hood for the 2020-21 season. The women swam their way to a 105-37 win. 

Opening the meet to take the first win in the 200-yard medley relay was Alice Ricci, Mega Taylor, Katerina Dragojevic, and Zoe Pflieger with a final time of 2:23.62.

First year Hannha Rummel recorded a first place win for the Mustangs to open the individual events in the 200-yard freestyle, at 2:16.91. Junior Emily Wolff also swam this event in exhibtion with a final time of 2:13.37.

In the 50-yard freestyle, Pflieger and Taylor each touched in at second place and fourth place, respectively, with times of 30.40 and 34.05.

Another first year win from Jennie Hudson in the 200-yard Individual Medley, Hudson got her hand on the wall at 2:39.29 to collect nine points for the Mustangs.

Wolff collected her first win of the day in the 100-yard butterfly at 1:08.83, Dragojevic was behind her in second place with a time of 1:19.90.

In the 100-yard freestyle, first-year Hudson and Rummel went 1-2 with times of 1:01.81 for Hudson and 1:03.41 for Rummel. Ricci and Pflieger also went 1-2 in the 100-yard backstroke with times of 1:16.03 and 1:30.10.

At 6:55.54, Dragojevic collected a first place finish in the 500-yard freestyle.

Wolff had her second win of the day in the 100-yard breaststroke, swimming a time of 1:20.39, touching out Hood opponent Grace Winpigler at 1:22.92.

To wrap up the meet for the women, Wolff, Ricci, Rummel, and Hudson recorded first place in the 200-yard freestyle relay for the Mustangs to take home the 105-37 win against Hood College.

Next week, the swimming teams will participate in a MAC virtual pentathlon on Saturday, March 13.
